OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY

A program for families, loved ones and anyone impacted by mental health conditions, substance misuse issues, or other unhealthy behavioral patterns to provide participants with the education and tools to improve and strengthen their family systems.

PRESENTATIONS BY

SAMANTHA HAMPSON, LCSW, LCAS, CSI, ICAADC obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston and her Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. Samantha has experience in emergency medical social work, mental health treatment with adolescents, and treating adults in outpatient substance abuse programs. Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and Certified Supervisor Intern. Samantha has experience in emergency medical social work, mental health treatment with adolescents, and treating adults in outpatient substance abuse programs. Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and Certified Supervisor Intern. Samantha first became captivated by helping individuals with substance use disorder when learning about the neurobiology of changes that occur in the brain as a result of chemical exposure.

Samantha’s approach to treatment is helping individuals find hope and motivation for life in recovery. Samantha believes that involving the family system in treatment allows for all members of the family to find their path to recovery.

 

WARD BLANCHARD, MA, MBA, CCS, LCAS started his career within the field of mental health in the professionally fertile grounds of Southern California. Ward’s passion for treating SUDs and Dual Diagnosis focuses on treating clients through his unique Family Systems approach and modality, as well as educating the professional community on these issues and practices.

In 2017, Ward founded The Blanchard Institute, based in Charlotte, NC, in efforts to provide the most progressive family system, dual diagnosis support via Intensive Outpatient treatment. Ward’s private intervention practice, Blanchard & Associates, consists of a team of Clinical Interventionists traveling internationally to deliver family system style interventions to those in need.
