Origingally from upstate New York, Jennifer began her journey with The Blanchard Institute in 2020 as an Office Administrator before finding her passion as a therapist. Having spent several years in law enforcement prior, she understands the impact substance use and mental health disorders have on individuals, their loved ones, and the community. She saw this opportunity as a chance to utilize her experience and make a difference.
Jennifer is now the Lead Primary Therapist for The Blanchard Institute at Lake Norman. Her personal journey of recovery enables her to establish profound connections with clients and families while offering support, compassion, and empathy. She has a strong desire to help those in need and is passionate about leaving an impact on those around her.
Jennifer is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and holds a Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from East Carolina University; an A.A.in Criminal Justice from Central Piedmont Community College, NC; a B.A. in Psychology from Waldorf University, IA; and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work from Walden University, MN.
