Valerie has always had a passion for the medical field. In 2005, after working as a medical office assistant for 8 years, she decided to pursue her degree in nursing. Valerie attended Fayetteville State University Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and upon completion of her degree in nursing, she quickly developed a passion for behavioral health. Valerie has worked for multiple providers in the mental health/substance use arena.
With great skills, Valerie comes to The Blanchard Institute to provide the highest level of compassion and hope for every person she encounters. She is currently working on her CARN certification and will be entering a master’s level nursing program in 2023. In her free time, Valerie enjoys traveling, volunteering on mission trips to South Africa, and spending time with her family.
